It can be a little fiddly to get working, but plays well once it's setup. Vorpx is an odd piece of software that doesnt have any other competitors so they can charge 60 bucks and not have a trial version. The Phantom Pain- This works very well in HelixVision and is one of our best experiences. The ony alternatives are vr mods like Gta's R.E.A.L mod or alien isolation's mothervr. HelixVision is strictly PC based, and Sony has never allowed modding on their consoles. Ghost of Tsushima- This doesn't make any sense? The game is a PlayStation exclusive and cannot be run on PC in any form. It would likely be viewable on the big screen, but the 3D will be broken and a poor experience overall. Run the Demo version and you will see static 3D screenshots and see exactly what it looks like and how you can tune it.īlack Ops: Cold War- We don't currently have a HelixMod fix for this game. It allows you to play on a giant 3D screen, as big and as close as you want, but it's a 3D cinema style experience. HelixVision does not convert games into full VR experiences. The Bioshock world in VR is the way the game was meant to be experienced, so much is lost on a monitor. For those games alone Vorpex makes up for its price. Metro Exodus and the Bioshock games work really well. Unlike hardware, they are not mutually exclusive so there is no reason not to run the best one for you. There is a full stereoscopic mode in Vorpx besides the big screen flat mode i.e. Each has their strengths and weaknesses, and it depends upon the game, and what users prefer. Generally speaking, I personally recommend both.
